About the role

Our receptionists are the first impression of our organisation on our visitors and customers. This role is based in our Red Cross Training office in Salford where you will greet all incoming visitors in a polite and friendly manner providing information and directions as required. You will be professionally answering phone calls and re-directing calls to respective departments.

As the receptionist, you will perform various administration tasks including handling and re-directing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining meeting room diaries and logging correspondence received from our trainers. You will have responsibility to ensure the reception area is kept tidy and free from clutter and ensure meeting rooms are tidy and secure at the end of the day.

This role sits within the Facilities team but offers a variety of tasks as you may be asked to assist other teams in the office.

Your working pattern will be 12.15pm - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, but you may be required to work mornings punctually.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will be Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), will have previous experience in a receptionist role and have a good working knowledge of MS office suite. You will also have experience in general administrative duties which include incoming and outgoing mail, answering the telephone, emails, diary management and have used of a database. You will have great communication skills and the ability to answer all enquiries in a professional manner.
