London Care are on the hunt for warm and kind people like you to join our amazing team of care and support assistants based in Westbourne Park Day Centre (W2).

And that's just what you'll be doing when you work with us. You'll become part of our incredible team, helping us deliver emotional and practical care to vulnerable adults and transforming their lives on a daily basis.

In return, we'll support you every step of the way, providing training as well as the opportunity to progress your career. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends, so one week you would work six days and the following week you would work four days. This role is contracted at 29 hours per week.

To join our team and make a real difference delivering care to the vulnerable adults, you will ideally have previous experience of working with individuals who have dementia or dementia related illnesses. Full London Care training and support will be provided.

  • Caring, compassionate and a good listener
  • An energetic, happy person who enjoys forming relationships with all sorts of people
  • Happy to offer support with a range of tasks, including personal care, preparing meals and administering medicine.

In addition to care and support duties, the successful applicant will be required to drive the mini bus to collect and drop-off service users. A full driving licence is therefore required. Please note that you do not need to have a specific minibus licence.
