Key Account Manager -Business Development Manager - Field based role - South East

52k with 50% OTE + Car allowance + Bens

As a Key Account Manager -Business Development Manager you will beresponsible for maintaining and growing subscriptions revenues from existing customers by selling HR data services effectively on the telephone or face to face. To achieve and exceed targets by increasing licensing volumes within a defined group of key accounts.

You will Identify and acquire new contacts within existing key account customers to generate new revenue, whilst

maintaining and developing existing accounts to generate increased revenue and market share

Commercial expectation of Key Account Manager -Business Development Manager
  • Identify and acquire new contacts within existing key account customers to generate new revenue:
  • Monitor competitive websites and information sources on a regular basis to establish client activity, to identify self-generated leads and potential prospects and to keep abreast of latest industry news
  • Plan and target prospects effectively, implementing successful actions to achieve goals
  • Identify growth objectives for target opportunities
  • Initiate calls to obtain client meetings by being a skilled appointment maker
  • Open up new and increases penetration of existing markets
  • Proactively makes sales calls and effectively uses time management to make calls, up-sell to clients and to achieve and exceed targets

Maintaining and developing existing accounts to generate increased revenue as the Key Account Manager -Business Development Manager
  • Identify, build and tailor relationships with key decision makers and establish a network of contacts within client organisations
  • Effectively negotiates deals with clients following agreed guidelines
  • Achieve revenue targets and KPI's
  • Develop an effective working knowledge of the industry, competitors and key account customers
  • Develop lucrative working relationships with existing customers
  • Penetrate existing customers to increase market share and deliver additional products
  • Review account performance and manages them effectively on a regular basis
  • Create innovative ways to build business from existing customers and the market
  • Negotiate effectively and close deals
  • Possesses up to date knowledge of customers and the market
  • Maintains SalesForce and meet minimum data standards
  • Support customer strategy and process
  • Give honest feedback to clients to develop a trustworthy, effective relationship with them
  • Ensure all customers are visited appropriately to maintain credible relationships based on trust and a sense of being a real business partner
  • Is proactive in responding to customers' current and future needs, identifies innovations that can be made to build the business
  • Effectively sells to achieve targets
  • Works closely with internal departments and any other appropriate areas

Key Account Manager -Business Development Manager will work remotely and in the field; and will report to the Sales Manager at their London/Surrey HQ.
