Our client, is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 3-18 years old. The school offers a very attractive working environment based in a delightful rural parkland setting of some 30 acres close to Northampton city centre. The school is now looking for a Registrar to join them. The registrar is responsible for effectively managing the Admissions process from initial enquiry right through to the pupil joining the School. This role involves: Maintaining relevant records and statistics Generating all correspondence on enquiries Prospectus requests, registrations and applications Meeting prospective parents and their child to discuss matters pertaining to their admission and keeping appropriate records. Conduct tours of the school and answer parent and pupil questions with knowledge and enthusiasm Administration for all pupil joiners and leavers The role will also involve actively working with the Head of Marketing and other members of the SLT in all activities to achieve pupil intake at all entry levels to meet recruitment and awareness targets. This role is key to the continued growth and development of the School. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are able to maintain a high level of efficiency and be calm, confident and professional with a variety of audiences. This role is based on 30 hours per week, working 9am-3pm, however these hours can be flexible. In return you will receive a salary of £16,500 per year. Due to the rural location of the role, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport to travel to/from the workplace as public transport is limited.
