The Role

A fantastic opportunity to develop a career within the Technology space of a leading Global Fast Food Chain. The Restaurant Technology Analyst will play a pivotal role in helping to define exceptional, optimised experiences for our Restaurant Teams through streamlined operations, integrated back of house systems and best in class POS and payment platforms.

You will report to the Restaurant Technology BOH Product Owner, and work within a team focused on delivering results.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support the development of software by working closely with Restaurant Excellence and Operations teams to drive innovation and improvements to existing kitchen, Drive Thru and Back of House management systems.
  • Support development and implementation of Aloha POS and Aloha Online within the businesses estate ensuring seamless integration into BOH systems such as Macromatix, ePCS and QPM.
  • Work closely with Service Introduction Manager to ensure successful handover of new systems from pilot into full production support.
  • Assist integration of digital channels on premise restaurant platforms and drive kitchen efficiencies and innovation through IoT platforms.
  • Oversee lab testing and deployment of new BOH software releases
  • Maintain secure and functional payment technology in line with consumer trends.
  • Explore opportunities to streamline restaurant administration such as team member on boarding, food safety checks and asset monitoring in order to deliver a paperless restaurant.
  • Support the team in developing tools and solutions which remove the need for on-site attendance of break/fix engineers through remote management and proactive monitoring.
  • Manage large scale refresh programs of restaurant systems in line with corporate end of life policies.
  • Work closely with strategic partners such as NCR, Acrelec, Hot Schedules, Ingenico to ensure we deliver innovative solutions with massive impact to our team members.
  • Assist in development of improved order touchpoints such as hand-held devices, kiosks and drive thru technology.

  • An understanding of current day restaurant technology platforms
  • Experience either leading or driving projects focussed around POS, ideally within the Food and Beverage Sector.
  • Basic understanding of scripting (preferable)
  • Leadership skills, including getting results through others, engaging and empowering others, and working cross functionally
  • Exceptional influencing and communications skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a structured and methodical manner
