We are a quality driven and customer focused scrap trading company based in Norfolk, UK. We focus on buying and selling of all scraps, Most importantly we care about our environment and want to sincerely divert landfill. The company currently in its 5th year of operations and is in its expansion phase hence looking for a Permanent Finance Manager. The successful applicant will be based in our office in Norfolk and will have timely visits to our accountants. The job role will also have flexibility of work from home some days in a week. Duties and Responsibilities Management of the Company's SAGE financial system and the preparation of management accounting and financial forecasting information on a monthly basis, within agreed time schedules. Liaison with the Company's auditors to ensure that our financial systems and records are kept up to date and audited on time and accurately. Keeping all suppliers and buyers and records up to date, all payments, invoicing, creditor payments and credit control 5 Management of customer invoicing, financial records & reporting Financial Management, Control and effective liaising with the external accountants to get most of accounting works inhouse. Cashflow projections, tonnage reports, transport reports, VAT returns, VAT reconciliations. Provide guidance to the Director to implement process improvements across all suppliers and buyers for all scalable/ replicable best practice for Finance and develop a performance improvement culture. Ensuring that the operations have good financial controls. To identify and ensure effective controls are in place to manage all business risks. Maintain liaisioning and relationship with Banks and international financial institutions. Preparing annual audit files and liaising with auditors, as required. Support and plan the annual budget and future forecasts Requirements. Educated to degree level or similar professional qualification preferably in Finance / accounts. Up to 5 years experience in working in similar field. Experience in preparing monthly management accounts to board Able to support the development of business plans and forward financial forecasts Experience of working in small and medium sized Ability to work to strict deadlines Closing date : 14 th November 2019
