About the role...

Based in our brand new, state of the art offices in Kingston upon Thames, and working within our vibrant Customer Support Team, the Technical Customer Service Associate will be responsible for providing software support services to CCH Software clients, specialising in CCH Accounts Production, Audit Automation and Taxation. This position is primarily office based (though some site visits may be necessary as determined by the Team Leader) using telephone, email and remote support facilities to interact with our clients.

The successful candidate will be a confident, determined self-starter with excellent problem solving and communication skills. An enjoyment of challenging situations and the flexibility to work in an environment where there is the freedom to act and the authority to take decisions is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve client queries and issues, both technical and application.
  • Provide excellent software support that is efficient in response times and effective in resolution.
  • Maintain and improve client satisfaction.

About you...

Suitable candidates will be qualified (or part qualified) accounting professionals, able to demonstrate the following:
  • Recognised accountancy qualification (or working towards) AAT, ACCA, ACA or ATT
  • Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice involved in either an audit, accounts or tax role.
  • The knowledge, confidence and initiative to work independently and problem solve in a busy support environment.
  • A psychological profile suited to the demands of a busy customer support environment in which conflicting concurrent service demands are normal.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage their own workload
  • Flexible with a team mentality
