Infi-tex is an exciting young startup producing a patented smart textile pressure sensor, easily adaptable to many requirements from customers. About the role

As our Product and Business Development Manager you will be splitting your time between overseeing several client projects and owning our sales pipeline. You will use your project management experience to deliver client projects on time and on budget while collaborating closely with our engineers and product designer. For the other part of your role, you will use your business development skills to bring out the best in each individual client opportunity, working closely with our CEO directly. This role can either be remotely from anywhere within Greater London or you can get your own desk in a co-working space in Farringdon (London).


• Define and manage scope and requirements across the project life cycle

• Compile dependencies, commitments and development milestones into a project plan. Track and update the plan on a regular basis. Report project progress in team meetings.

• Establish clear objectives for implementation and respond with urgency to achieve goals within the project timelines.

• Day to day responsibility for managing projects with clients in various industries

• Own a sales pipeline and manage customer lead intake and outbound activities

• Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of our solution to current and prospective clients - on the phone or in person

• Gather and document customer requirements, understanding their business needs and developing strategic plans for key clients Ideal experiences

• Proven track record in product and project management, managing project budgets of £50K+

• Ability to work across multiple projects of different sizes

• Superior client management and communication skills

• Ability to network and build relationships with clients and industry contacts

• A confident self-starter with a strong personal drive and motivation to succeed

• A strong relationship builder and collaborative team player

• Strong ability to solve problems

• A keen interest in new technologies, especially wearable technologies

• Entrepreneurial spirit, with a progressive and creative attitude

• Comfortable working remotely using various online tools such as Slack

• Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs

• Big plus: background in Engineering or product design
