What it's about

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with excellent accuracy and communication skills to join our dynamic team.

You will be responsible for carrying out tasks as directed to support the Operations Division in their objective of ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of Cambridge International assessments. The Results and Despatches team work together in order to provide accurate and timely results and assessment materials to our customer's world-wide. We are responsible for ensuring confidential assessment materials are despatched to our customers on time through an electronic portal as well as in hard copy format.

This vacancy is in an ever expanding department with the types of material and format of despatch constantly evolving. Therefore, there is an opportunity to be involved in exciting projects and future development of this area. This role requires a degree of flexibility due to the peaks of workload during examination series.

What you'll be doing

You will take responsibility for processing and analysing accurate data, producing reports and investigating issues, sometimes within a tight timescale. You will effectively liaise with colleagues as required in order to meet agreed deadlines as well as responding to customer queries to ensure excellent service to our customers. The role requires collaboration with a number of different departments throughout the business to ensure all processes run smoothly and in a timely manner. You may also be required from time to time to move across our offices in Cambridge and Whittlesford (transport provided).

What we're looking for
  • Proven track record in administration, ideally in customer facing roles.
  • Customer focused and considers the impact of their actions on customers.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).
  • The ability to learn new skills and processes easily with accuracy.
  • Flexibility and willingness to embrace regular changes in working practice and pattern.
  • Adaptable - able to respond positively to changing situations.
  • Active contributor able to work collaboratively with team members who is diplomatic, trustworthy, pragmatic and personable.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • 5 GCSE's at grade A-C or equivalent, including Maths and English, is desirable.
