Sales & Maintenance Technician - Dual Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join a growing team working for a highly successful global leader in the industrial cleaning sector. No Sales experience? No problem! This is a sales and service dual role where you will have a very "hands-on" approach on client sites.

Our client work with some of the largest, most reputable companies within the automotive, rail and aviation industries globally. You will be working remotely to maintain the highest quality of service to existing customers while building a strong pipeline of potential clients.

The Role:
  • Dual Role 60/40 split of Machinery Servicing/Sales

Machinery Servicing
  • Scheduled service visits and reactive fault repairs on various industrial cleaning machines at clients' premises within the automotive, rail and aviation industries.

  • Selling during service visits - building strong customer relationships in order to gain repeat business, maximise business opportunities and referrals, upselling new machines or extending service contracts.
  • 1 Dedicated Sales Day per week - Developing a strong customer pipeline, following up on enquiries, outbound prospect selling, seeking contract renewals and extensions, pitching proposals.
  • Uncapped commission to be earnt on sales made and contract wins / extensions.

  • No previous machinery servicing or sales experience required as successful candidates will receive full, comprehensive 3 Month Training & Induction Period initially, including machinery servicing / minor repair training and sales training, shadow shifts and assistance throughout.

The Requirements:
  • Must be prepared to make outbound sales to new prospect clients as well as servicing existing clients and maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Physically capable of fulfilling duties - Some manual handling involved - lifting equipment is provided for large /heavy containers
  • Willing to work in both industrial and office-based environments
  • Company vehicle provided but travel will be required to customer sites, working within your own dedicates sales patch and crossing over with other Service Representatives for maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and build strong working relationships
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • (CPC Training provided for candidates with 7.5T entitlement)

The Package:
  • Bristol Based, BS16
  • £20,466 Basic - £32,000 OTE (Uncapped Commission)
  • Monday - Friday: 7am - 3pm (Some Flexibility Required)
  • Company Uniform Provided
  • Company Vehicle for Work Purposes
  • 28 Days Annual Leave (20 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays) Rising with Service
