We have transformed the way adult social care is provided in Wiltshire, to make it the best in the country. Our vision is to support independent lives in thriving and resilient communities by assisting people to access the wide range of opportunities for intervention and prevention provided in communities and by partner organisations.

Working with our health partners, we will help people before they reach crisis point, to stay healthy and out of hospital or reliant on care services

LIVE∙WORK∙SUPPORT

The Advice and Contact Team, based at county hall, Trowbridge, is a team that responds to people's enquiries about adult social care - primarily on the phone but also via email. The team provides information, advice and guidance to the public - one of our key objectives is to support people to live as independently as possible within their communities and our conversations with people are focussed on this. In addition, we take referrals where appropriate for adult care services, such as Reablement.
