Funding and Higher Education Administrator - 19 hours per week - Permanent

£9,363.68 - £10,448.17 (exact part time salary) - West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds

The postholder will take responsibility for their own work jointly supporting:
  • CIS Team Leader with maintaining the course file and ensure that accurate course codes are created. These will then need to be communicated timely to the relevant departments.

  • Required to work with staff responsible for higher ed, access to higher ed, ensuring timetables are accurately set up on college systems

The role requires a keen eye for detail and confidence in manipulating/scrutinising data in order to problem solve, using own initiative to resolve issues pragmatically.

Role Responsibilities
  • Independently maintaining the course file across 16-19 education, Adult Education and apprenticeships
  • Independently organising timetabling and room allocation, ensuring full utilisation to support for the provision of HE

Required qualifications, skills and experience
  • English and Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent are essential
  • Level 3 or equivalent in Business Admin or Customer Service would be advantageous
  • Experience of working within an office environment
