An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Community Nursing team.

This is a role working as our twilight nurse. Working from 5pm - 11pm covering a large patch. Your base would be Parklands Hospital but on twilight shifts you cover North Hampshire such as Basingstoke, Alton and the surrounding area.

Full time is preferred but we will be very accommodating for part time and flexible hours.

Community Nurses play an important role in supporting patients to remain at home.Your role as a community nurse will help the NHS meet the needs of elderly, disabled or vulnerable patients who may not be able to easily visit the GP surgery or hospital. As an essential part of the Multidisciplinary Team, you will be required to work alongside Doctors, Therapist's, Heath Care support Workers and Social workers in delivering a gold standard approach to care to assist in optimising independence as well as also supporting families whose relatives are approaching end of life

As a Community Nurse you work independently as well as in a team. You will see a vast variety of patients, including: catheter care, advanced wound care, palliative/end of life care, IV therapy, Venepuncture etc...
