We currently require a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in the Birmingham area for a period of 37.5 hours per week, 08:30-16:30 over 3 months with a possibility of extending.

Duties:

•To provide a specialist occupational therapy service to patients recently diagnosed with a neurological condition in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge.

•To be a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers and external agencies who may require advice and support and guidance in the management of stroke.

•To transfer individual patients' on-going care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient and effective way.
To meet the service specification objectives and key performance indicators as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a high quality service.

This role is available immediately for the right candidate.
