Role Overview:
Do you have passion for care, a drive to succeed and are looking for a new opportunity to work for a FANTASTIC homecare provider located in Chesterfield? My client seeks a passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who has experience in a senior position and can effectively manage and support the service and staff on a day-to-day basis. You should be confident and competent with Care Plans, MAR Sheets, medication, and be able to show initiative when required.

As a Care Manager you will be able to:
• Maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients and other external bodies
• Mentor, support and train new and existing care staff in addition to carrying out regular competency checks
• Cover client visits as required, and work flexible hours to support staff when needed
• Providing quality introductions of Care Staff to existing and potential Clients
• Prepare and update Client MAR sheets
• Carry out regular Log and MAR sheet audits and collection
• Support the Care Management team to set up new care packages and carry out Client Service Reviews, updating care plans as required
• Working efficiently to achieve set targets to ensure the service remains compliant at all times.

What we need from you?
•Level 3 Health and Social Care NVQ/QCF or above (or equivalent)
•Must live local to Chesterfield
•Experience of working with MAR sheets and medication in a supervisory role
•Excellent assessment and care planning skills
•Ability to nurture carers to enable them to reach their full potential
•Good commercial awareness
•Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
•Ability to remain positive and focused within a fast paced, demanding and ever-changing environment
•Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and training to carers
•Must have clear DBS
•Must have full driving licence and use of a car on a daily basis
