Due to our continued success in supporting South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust we have the following exciting opportunities available for Emergency Care Assistants and Emergency Care Support Workers immediate start.

To be part of a team of Red Cross ambulance crew who provide high quality care to patients, in partnership with SECAmb.

You will work as part of a two-person team responsible for providing safe and effective emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital care for people within the South of England, and if necessary further afield.

It might be necessary to respond as a "first response" to life threatening emergencies, or assist and support another qualified practitioner in the delivery of high quality and effective clinical and personal care and the safe transportation of patients.

You will utilise your qualification in selecting and applying appropriate equipment and skills to treat and transport patients in line with the scope of practice current protocols and Care Quality Commission standards.

Our Ambulance support work is contract driven and based around agreements to provide a range of services from Patient Transport to front line ambulance support.

Our services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and we apply the same standards to our service delivery across the whole of the UK. Our fleet and equipment is comparable with those deployed by NHS services.

We're a close-knit team united by one goal - to save lives.

This role might be for you if
  • Clinical qualification FutureQuals or IHCD Emergency Care Assistants and Emergency Care Support Workers
  • IHCD D1D2 or FutureQuals L2 & L3 Emergency Response Driving Qualification.
  • Full B-Class Driving Licence, held for a minimal of 2 years with a maximum of 3 live penalty points.

All applicants who meet the shortlisting criteria will be invited to attend an assessment and selection centre which will be held in Paddock Wood 26th and 27th November 2019.
