Young People's Social Worker

You will join as a Young People's Social Worker to provide support to young people aged 16-24 diagnosed with cancer and their families who live in Cambridge and East Anglia.

Young People's Social Worker Responsibilities:

Their work is rewarding but also complex and demanding; you will need to be resourceful and resilient. You will be part of their supportive team, an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and with services in the community. You will need to be able to travel to meet young people closer to their home when necessary.

Young People's Social Worker Requirements:

As well as current HCPC registration you will have:

- Experience working with children, young people and their families / carers in a social care setting.
- An understanding of the impact of serious illness for young people and their families.
- It is desirable that you have experience working in an NHS setting.

Location: Cambridge - Addenbrooke's Hospital

Job type: Part Time, Permanent; 28 hours per week

Salary: £34,430 per annum (FTE)
