This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop Band 5 competencies working with children, within a small and supportive team. We are looking for a self- motivated, friendly and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our established Children's Therapy Team in North East Lincolnshire.

We are a small but dynamic multi professional team comprised of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics and Speech and Language Therapy. The team is based on the hospital site at Grimsby and working across outpatient clinics and in community. Within this role there is an exciting opportunity to spend part of your time working with our Early Years team in Family Hubs (Children's Centre's) and homes to support children and families who are at greater risk of SLCN.

Your job will be to provide Speech and Language assessment and management of children with a wide range of less complex speech and language conditions in clinics, homes and schools. This will include working closely with parents, Practitioners and Speech Therapy Assistants to reduce the impact of communication difficulties. You will be supported to develop core Band 5 competencies working and to complete the RCSLT competencies framework. You will also actively participate with the team in development of new service development activities, regular audits and development of Outcome measures. Applicants should have experience of working with paediatrics in an undergraduate capacity and experience working with parents/ carers and families would be desirable however; full supervision and training will be provided.
