This market leading manufacturing business based in Bedfordshire is looking for a Corporate Account Manager to take responsibility for the UK & Ireland.

You must have extensive experience of Account Managing high profile Clients ideally within the defence, aerospace and military sectors as well as strong technical knowledge of electronics and semi-conductors.

Reporting to the EMEA's Director of Field Sales, the position will work closely with the Internal Sales Team and Technical Sales Team to drive the overall Company Business Strategy.

You will be tasked with developing and executing Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier at key customers within the Regions.

Key Aspects of the role
  • Responsible for direct customer activities within the UK and Ireland High Reliability sector, working in conjunction with the Internal Sales Representative and Technical Manager to increase sales of products and services to customers in accordance with agreed strategies and business plans.
  • Develop long term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify major opportunities, gain information, and develop strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within Region.
  • Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, creating and delivering sales presentations, creating sales proposals, negotiating and closing the deal.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region and ensuring CRM is utilized and maintained on a daily basis.
  • Providing effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigate internally to influence decisions and priorities on active business opportunities.

Applicants should be qualified to degree standard with a minimum of 10 years' Sales & Management experience, including a track record of managing a large territory remotely as well as visiting sites.

Technical sales experience and a proven track record of successfully selling high tech product solutions especially within the semiconductor industry would be highly beneficial.

The successful Candidate will be a proven relationship builder with the gravitas to interact effectively with key decision makers and influencers. You must have a consultative selling approach and outstanding communication skills. Previous exposure to closing complex product deals within a technical environment to include electronics /semi-conductors would be advantageous.

A high level of Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.

This is a permanent role paying a salary range of £45,000 - £70,000 depending on experience plus 23 days holiday and pension (5% Employer and 2% Employee).
