The Premex group is recruiting for a Clinical Manager to join our Personal independence Payment (PIP) team - working on site and remotely from our various assessment centres.

The Premex Group work closely with Solicitor and Insurance firms in connection with personal injury - our PIP disability team work on behalf of the DWP in assessing individuals about their personal fitness to work or need to claim benefits.

As the Clinical Manager you will manage all aspects of the PIP Clinical process and maintain strong relationships with IAS and work providers. Working to develop and implement robust processes to deliver on contractual requirements. You will effectively manage and support the clinical team - ensuring of monthly reviews and appraisals for team members, to both encourage and offer constructive feedback when necessary.

You should have an excellent attention to detail, think analytically and show that your work is compliant and in line with assessment guidelines.

Main Responsibilities -

·You will be responsible for the clinical management and delivery of the PIP contract

·Responsible for the management and support of the Clinical Support Leads - both directly employed and through supply chain partners

·To ensure the health professionals provide consistent well-structured and accurate reports to comply with all aspects of the assessment standards.

·To ensure that all the relevant training to HP's is delivered in accordance with the training schedules and all stages of the training are completed.

·To ensure quality clinical delivery in accordance with the quality management framework

·To develop and monitor procedures to ensure the smooth running of the clinical department

·To monitor and ensure a regional database of health professionals including any circumstances affecting their eligibility to practice or carry out medical assessments.

·Responsible for dealing with all clinically based complaints into the business and keeping the appropriate documentation.

·Ensure that the right level of clinical support is available to both our employed and contracted panel of HP's

·Facilitate the delivery of on-going CPD as and when required

·Responsible for the recruitment of HP's in conjunction with HR and ACM's as and when required by the business

·You will be required to liaise with the IAS clinical and audit team

·Attend meetings with the IAS clinical / management team

·Attend meetings with the Premex Management Team

Essential experience in the below -

·You must have previous experience in a similar role, managing teams within a clinical environment.

·You should be a registered occupational therapist, nurse, physiotherapist or paramedic.

·You should have at least 2 years post HCPC or NMC registration experience

·An In-depth understanding of the Personal independence Payment process is mandatory.

·Understanding of the Disability Act 2010

·An understanding of PIP claimants and their potential needs.

The correct individual for the role, should be articulate, have excellent interpersonal skills, be approachable and a great communicator - both verbal and written.

You should have good time keeping, be a good people manager and a strong team player. Always professional and be able to stay self-motivated and motivate others. You should be presentable and respectful of others at all times.
