Rose Bruford College is a leading university-sector institution, specialising in vocational degree programmes in theatre and performance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Subject Leader or Lecturer (depending on experience) to teach primarily on our Stage and Events Management BA Honours degree, which addresses all aspects of management in the theatre, events and performance-related industries.

We are looking for an individual to lead the teaching and learning of the various aspects of Business and Events Management within our vibrant community. As the successful candidate for the post, you are likely to have substantial relevant experience, through your professional work or through teaching in Further or Higher Education, in two or more of:
  • Business strategy;
  • Arts marketing;
  • Fundraising;
  • Cultural entrepreneurship;
  • Site management;
  • The corporate events industry;
  • Regulatory frameworks;
  • Social & cultural value;
  • International strategy & impact.

You will teach specific modules and groups of students and contribute to the on-going management and development of your discipline as a subject area within the College. You will use your knowledge and experience to prepare the next generation of practitioners.

The salary for Subject Leaders is £40,355 rising to £50,572 (pro rata, inclusive of Outer London Weighting Allowance) via annual increments. For lecturers the salary is £35,094 rising to £40,355. We offer 35 days' holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays (pro rata), an attractive pension scheme and access to our staff development programme.
