This is a truly unique opportunity for a Sales Director to join a 12 month old AWARD WINNING adventure start up business which aims to showcase the best of North Wales, bringing intrepid travellers from all around the world to discover the regions's incredidble wild spaces and epic adventure experiences. This is a pivotal role within the business, working closely with the co founders to propel growth and as such will be rewarded with a competitive basic, outstanding commission scheme and SHARES WITHIN THE BUSINESS.

As Sales Director you will have at least 10 years' sales experience, with the last three or more of those years in the travel sector. You may currently be in a Sales Manager role or in a role which is focuses exclusively on sales but are perhaps looking for that next step in your career. Experience in the travel sector is non-negotiable. A personable person, you will enjoy meeting new people and quickly finding common ground on which you can build and maintain friendly, long term relationships. In addition, you will have an established black book of contacts in the travel industry with whom you already have trusted relationships. These relationships will be both productive and profitable.

Yours will be an integral role within the business offering you a truly unique opportunity to carve out a rewarding career within an initially small team, where your voice will be heard. You will be self-motivated, commercially-minded, target-driven and hungry for a challenge.

Your key role will be to develop a robust sales strategy and pipeline. This will include all aspects of travel sales, from identifying and winning contracts with large international resellers to optimising online direct sales, and everything in between. Developing new reseller relationships is a critical aspect of the role. You will be targeted on the number and value of sales achieved, as well as the length, value and reliability of your pipeline. Getting involved in trade fairs, sales conferences and networking events will also underpin the role. You will be flexible and work with other departments as required. Planned, rapid growth is expected from the outset. As an international business there will be overseas travel (approximately 5 days per month) but the rest of the time the owners are keen to offer the flexibility for you to work remotely. You will be competent using Word, Excel, Powerpoint and your previous experience will mean you have used CRMs effectively and understand the value of CRMs in the sales process. You must have a full valid UK driving licence and a valid passport.
