Working within this successful and expanding business, the Field-based Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that key clients are met with on a regular basis to maximise sales opportunities. The Field-based Account Manager will work for a well-established company with a Head Office in Chester, who pride themselves on the bespoke service they offer customers. The role has a competitive salary, a company car and fully expensed travel.

To apply for the Field-based Account Manager role, you must have a proven track record of account management in a field-based role. The Field-based Account Manager will also possess the ability to work autonomously, managing your own schedule and appointments. The role is covering the north of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manging your own schedule to meet with key existing clients and new clients, across the north of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man
  • Attending sales meetings at the Chester-based head office, along with other UK-based offices to ensure the most recent and relevant information is being presented to clients
  • Advising clients of pricing, quotes, promotions and upcoming offers
  • Ensuring products and brands are effectively promoted to maximise sales and revenue opportunities
  • Working to targets as determined by senior management
  • As required by the business to attend trade conferences and events
  • Overseas educational trips with working schedule defined by the trip

  • Strong communication skills verbally and written - clear and concise
