Priory Hospital Burgess Hill is located in beautiful West Sussex and offers the opportunity to gain experience across many specialist mental health disciplines including Secure Services, a DBT Locked Rehabilitation service, HDU Services and Acute care.

With a CQC rating of GOOD across all 5 Key Lines of Enquiry, you would be working in a forward thinking hospital supporting our patients recovery alongside a highly skilled and dedicated Multi-Disciplinary Team.

This is a zero hours contract role. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and organised Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be a professional and committed individual with relevant experience working in a front-of-house environment, ideally with experience in a private clinic/hospital

You will be responsible for:

• Providing a professional front-of-house service to patients, visitors and staff, including meeting and greeting

• Ensuring that correct security procedures are maintained and updated as required

• Ensuring all visitors are issued with appropriate security/ID badges

• Receiving and processing all incoming and outgoing phone calls in a professional manner

• Ensure all staff members are given the correct security passes and equipment

• Liaising with Emergency Services when required

• Assist with general admin (including post, scanning and filing)

This role involves shift work throughout the week (including weekends). There are several weekday shifts, which take place between 7am to 9pm. Weekend shifts are set, with shifts being either 7am - 1pm, or 1pm to 9pm.

What we need from you?

• Experience working in a front-of-house environment

• Experience working within a secure hospital/clinical environment is beneficial

• Computer literate

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Can work comfortably under pressure

• Ability to adapt to challenging situations
