Position: UK Business Development Manager

Due to the continued growth and future plans of the business, my client is now looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager based anywhere in the UK.

Role:

The candidate will be responsible for growing sales and company presence across the UK.

The candidate will be expected to manage and build on existing relationships with customers and contractors whilst identifying new opportunities and raising product & service awareness. The job will include producing a portfolio industry focused territory plan. Plan and prioritise personal sales activities to achieve business aims and sales targets. Create good business relations with clients to achieve great client satisfaction. Prepare and present accurate quotes. Work and support others in a professional and productive team environment. As such the candidate will be expected to spend a high proportion of their time travelling.

The candidate will be based remotely but work closely with, and be managed by the Senior Management; with full support from the Technical team.

Candidate:

The ideal candidate should have the following credentials:
  • Experience in industry related sales, i.e. Thermal Packaging, Cold Chain Solutions, Cold Storage
  • Sales experience with small and large organisations
  • Hands on approach to sales
  • Proven ability to meet set targets
  • Experience of identifying and completing complex sales with interactions with the clients
  • Technically astute with a practical approach to problem solving
  • A highly motivated, self-led individual with a systematic approach to sales and business development
  • Effective communicator, comfortable presenting to groups and individuals
  • Remote sales experience is a distinct advantage
  • Have a full UK driving license
