We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/Office Administrator at our Headquarters in Poole, Dorset.

This is a fast-paced, innovative company which prides itself on delivering high quality products and excellent customer service.

This role is responsible for delivering first class front of house services, being the first point of contact for visitors and guests and providing administrative support to our departments.

The main tasks of the role are:
  • Welcoming guests and visitors
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, forwarding calls and taking messages
  • Tidying and replenishing meeting rooms, kitchen and rest rooms
  • Preparation of meeting rooms
  • Organising refreshments and lunches for meetings
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing post
  • Arranging off-site meetings and facilities
  • Sourcing and purchasing stationery and office supplies
  • Coordinating social committee activities and events
  • Providing a full range of administrative duties to HR and other departments
  • Booking travel and accommodation

This role would ideally suit someone with previous experience of working as a receptionist/administrator or in a similar role. Experience of HR administration would be desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will be competent in Microsoft Office and have strong organisational skills, administration skills and have the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a high standard and have the confidence to tactfully communicate at all levels.

This role would suit someone who displays professional, friendly and positive behaviours, has excellent personal presentation, great people skills and a strong customer focus. Attention to detail and accuracy are key skills required for this role along with confidentiality and discretion.

The role requires someone with the ability to proactively work on their own initiative, take full ownership of tasks and the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time efficiently.

Holding a valid driving licence would be advantageous.
