Newcross Healthcare is seeking professional Care Assistants to care for children living with complex care needs within their own homes in Worcester, Kidderminster and the surrounding areas.

Successful candidates will be needed to work night shifts for this position.


As a Care Assistant, you will provide life-enhancing care and support to children living with complex care needs. You will assist them with personal care, medication support, posture care, feeding and peg care, meal preparation, social activities and any additional services needed.

For this role, you will be required to have previous experience of providing care to children with complex needs including PEG.

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months' previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months
  • Have access to a smart device, with internet access to manage your rotas
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
