Our client is looking for an ambitious and target driven Field Sales Executive, with a strong record, to join their successful sales team and help in their mission to improve literacy rates across the UK and internationally.

They are a rapidly growing business with a strong social focus. Turnover has doubled year on year and their market share has increased dramatically. They are now looking for a motivated and conscientious Field Sales Executive to join their dynamic, high-performing team.

Whilst the opportunity is advertised in Manchester, you could be located elsewhere in the North of England. You will be responsible for new business development in the North of England, which is a thriving region for them! You will visit schools and develop relationships across the region.

Successful candidates will enjoy an extremely competitive package including uncapped performance linked bonuses and unlimited holiday.

  • £37,000 -£52,000 OTE with additional stretch bonuses.

So, what will you be responsible for?
  • New business development in the North of England.
  • Hitting personal sales targets and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Establishing links with the key contacts and decision makers of schools.
  • Booking and attending meetings with customers and potential customers.
  • Arranging and delivering product demos to potential customers.
  • Managing opportunities meticulously via the company's CRM technology.
  • Building rapport with customers and promoting the brand.

  • You enjoy working autonomously and can manage your time effectively without being micromanaged.
  • You have a hunger to increase growth through new business development as well as nurturing inbound opportunities and converting them into sales. You are confident on the phone, have a professional manner and enjoy meeting new people and making new connections.
  • You enjoy driving, being on the road and seeing new parts of the UK, whilst visiting potential customers.
  • You understand fast-growing businesses; you like that things move fast and you are dynamic enough to adjust. You are expected to fuel growth and you want to grow yourself, professionally and financially.

Essential:
  • Exemplary communication skills: written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • At least 2 years' experience in business development/sales with a strong record of increasing revenue.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • The ability to cover the geographic territory of the role.
  • The ability to work from home effectively and nurture customers at all stages of the sales process.

Desirable:
  • BA, Bsc or other related qualification.
  • Experience in selling to schools or teachers.
