Sales Executive - Events - Conferences - Sponsorship - Flexible hours - Manchester

We are looking for a Sales Executives to join a fast-growing professional sponsorship company running hundreds of events and conferences each year across a diverse range of sectors. There are currently 2 Sales Executive rolls available.

Working Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm, you will be joining a sales team of 4, generating leads and converting them into Sponsorship sales for allocated conferences.

The Role:
  • Communicating with senior-level delegates in various industries
  • Finding appropriate sponsors for conferences
  • Approaching potential sponsors via telephone and / or email
  • Use social media marketing to promote products and services
  • Plan ahead and work to strict deadlines
  • Work efficiently and accurately, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Provide a first class service to sponsors and event organisers
  • Attend events on the day to ensure success for sponsors and event organisers

Essential Experience:
  • Must have sales experience (events sales an advantage)
  • Experienced and confident at selling by phone and email
  • Demonstrable track record of Key Account Management
  • Be able to demonstrate longevity in previous positions
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Happy to discuss previous targets, achievements, billings & commission
  • Proficient in MS Word, spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with CRM systems (desirable but not essential)

The Rewards:

This well-known and highly reputable business offer a competitive starting salary of £21,000 pa plus generous commission leading to an OTE circa £31,000pa, healthcare, flexible working, pension, 24 days' holiday + Bank holidays, dress for your diary etc.
