Operations Manager: An experienced and self-reliant Operations Manager with construction industry knowledge and genuine people-focused team management experience, is required to ensure installation, storage and delivery targets are met for Bellsure, an industry renowned provider of architectural ironmongery and street furniture.

The ideal candidate, who is preferably GAI affiliated, will use their extensive knowledge of the ironmongery industry to drive improvements in the current supply chain process whilst acting as a mentor to the growing Operations team.

In addition, the successful candidate will have the relationship building skills required to forge strong links with the Sales team using their technical product knowledge to provide a more joined up customer experience.

The ability to motivate and lead teams to deliver the highest standards of customer service, product procurement and project delivery is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a highly valued, customer focused service offering

• Effectively manage remote warehouses

• Oversee and direct procurement process

• Drive warehouse efficiencies, ensuring optimum stock levels are established and adhered to

• Oversee complex supply-only construction projects (£10k - £1m)

• Oversee subcontract installation of cycle parking systems, street furniture and mail management systems (£5k - £250k)

• Provide efficient management of contracted and ad hoc resources

• Drive efficient operation of order management and after-sales service

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar operational management role

• Negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers particularly in relation to deadlines

• Ironmongery industry knowledge (preferably GAI)

• Able to understand and resolve technical issues

• Comfortable with data and detail with the ability to think strategically

• Positive attitude towards customers

• Commercially astute

• Able to inspire confidence through competence and excellent communication skills
