Business Development. What does it mean to you?

If you were to tell me that is "about developing the company's business in their field" I'd rate that a 1/10.

If you tell me it is "about developing sales strategies, developing and maintaining relationships to ensure maximum sales potential are realised, implementing programmes for continuous improvement, maintaining awareness of developments in sales techniques and focusing on customer retention" then we should chat!

This role isn't for the faint at heart, you'll need fire in your belly, drive and determination. You'll be responsible for a large area; think everything North of Birmingham! As well as the sales side of the role there is also the need to undertake administrative duties; monitoring service offerings, evaluating any new markets or services that will help the development of the company and delivering accurate sales reporting.

In return you will benefit from a company car, laptop and mobile phone. You will undertake 2 weeks essential training in Peterborough and then, the world will be your oyster!

You will need to have a background in the security industry, ideally with an understanding of Remote Video Response Centres and with a background in sales you will have a demonstrated history for achieving targets and tracked commission.
