A fast paced, global business near Farnborough requires a resourceful, proactive, technically minded and customer focused professional to work alongside the service teams.
Reporting to the UK Sales Accounts Director, this is an exciting new role due to restructure in the aftermarket department.
* Work with the Director to develop a business strategy of how best to support the sales of aftermarket products
* Visiting customer sites to review performance of existing contracts
* Identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cross-selling and working with the wider sales team
* Create a deliverable Sales Plan and identify sites for new business opportunities
* Maximise the retention of existing service contact revenue
* Prepare customer proposals and follow up
* Promote Service, Contracts and Training to customers to maximise revenue
* Act professionally and promptly as the primary point of contact for customers
* Meet and exceed the agreed sales revenue target
* Maintain pricing levels and margins
* Update the CRM system, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
* Provide information in a timely manner for invoicing
* Feedback competitor activity and market developments to the wider sales teams
Experience and Requirements
* Technically minded
* Positive, hands-on approach
* A proven track-record in partnering with customers in a technical sales role
* A demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets
* Self-organised with an ability to manage a busy schedule and workload
* Great attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Enthusiastic, resourceful, motivated and committed
* Ability to influence other team members
* Ability to work as part of a team is vital
* IT literate - able to use word, excel, power point and good presentation skills
* Able to work remotely on own initiative, willing to travel with some overnight
