We are a small friendly business looking for someone to join our team and help grow the business. This person will be responsible for company administration and assist the business owner by creating and promoting new business. They will ensure all administrative duties are performed effectively and to the required standard, meeting the objectives of the business. Support the business in further developing the companies portfolio of events to photograph, coordinating staff for company events, directing collaborative working, overseeing service delivery, and carrying out other duties as directed by the line manager.

The following are the core responsibilities for this role. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels.

Market the company, actively pursuing new business, creating opportunities for future events and further sales opportunities throughout the year.

The administrator is responsible for supervising and supporting the company staff teams and ensuring they achieve their primary responsibilities:

Plan, produce and coordinate corporate events: the venues/shows; bookings; company diary and lists; liaison with venue/show contacts and photographers/staff

Help the business owner with ongoing franchising plans.
Coordinate on-site arrangements for all events: assist with negotiations for space, book it and maintain a working relationship with venue organisers. Problem solve as required
Develop and oversee the company diary to ensure timely attendance at events
Communicate with all relevant staff in a timely manner about the venues/shows, where they need to be at what time and with what equipment

Market the company actively pursuing new business, creating opportunities for future events to further sales opportunities throughout the year
Ensure the completion all the relevant booking forms, account folders and follow up emails
Process orders, post and track accordingly
In collaboration with the business owner to update and maintain the company website and social media accounts on an ongoing basis
Assist in managing the development, production and distribution of promotional material
Generate company invoices and track payments
Process incoming and outgoing mail
File and store records as required
Photocopy documentation as required
Action all incoming emails
Process letters as requested
Enter data of new and existing clients with relevant information updating and maintaining databases
Process requests for information about Blue Pig services
Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately
Manage all administrative queries as necessary
Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
Support staff with general administrative tasks as requested

As a small business we can offer flexible hours based around 9.15 to 2.30 four or five days a week.

We have a great team of photographers who work with us up and down the country. We are looking to further expand into Europe and our long term aim is to franchise the business.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £8.50 to 11.00 an hour
