Improve Practice in Youth Offending

A Local Authority based in the South West is seeking an experienced Youth Offending Manager to help improve services and practice

Highlights:
  • This role is based around Improvement Work, which will include Policy Writing, Inspection Readiness, adding capacity to the team
  • Operational and Strategic role - Will be providing recommendations to the senior management about the development of the team and wider service
  • Contract is expected to go on for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension
  • Local Authority is offering money to help support with accommodation if you are not based in the area.
  • Excellent hourly rate which is very competitive.

  • Will also be doing work to improve working synergy between partner agencies and other statutory services.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to take on a more strategical role which will focus on improvement work. The Youth Offending service is looking to improve practice and their working synergy with other statutory services and you will be key in identifying areas of improvement. You will be working closely with the Senior Management team as well as practitioners firstly to identify the key areas of improvement and then bring about change through policy.
