Aftermarket Sales Manager - Farnborough - C£30K basic with uncapped OTE

The Aftermarket Sales Manager will be responsible for revenue from sales of Contracts, Hire and Training to new and existing customers.

This is a great opportunity for an experience sales professional who has working within a commercial environment and ideally has an understanding of the food industry.
  • Develop a strategy of how to best support the sales of my client's aftermarket products
  • Visiting customer sites to review performance of existing contracts, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cross-selling and working with the wider sales team to maximise my client's market share
  • Create a deliverable Sales Plan and identify sites for new business opportunities
  • Maximise the retention of existing service contact revenue
  • Develop and enhance aftermarket products in line with the business strategy and market requirements
  • Prepare customer proposals, follow up and win business
  • Promote the company service offering and work closely with the other internal functions to ensure aftermarket (contracts, hire & training) revenue is maximised
  • Act professionally and promptly as the primary point of contact for customers with regards to the promotion of aftermarket products
  • Meet and exceed the agreed sales revenue target
  • Maintain pricing levels and margins
  • Update the CRM system, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
  • Provide information in a timely manner for invoicing
  • Feedback competitor activity and market developments to the wider sales teams
  • Experience of sales and working within a commercial environment
  • Understanding and experience in the Food Industry preferred
  • Ability to understand company sales tools including design guides for Metal Detectors,
  • Checkweighers and X-Ray equipment and the associated technical applications
  • Positive, hands-on approach
  • A proven track-record in partnering with customers in a technical sales role
  • A demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Self-organised with an ability to manage a busy schedule and workload
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, motivated and committed
  • Ability to influence other team members
  • Ability to work as part of a team is vital
  • IT literate - able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and good presentation skills
  • Able to work remotely using your own initiative, willing to travel with some overnight stays
