Our clean, modern and comfortable hospital in Somerset specialises in a variety of different surgical specialties, including orthopaedics, endoscopy, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynaecology, urology and ear, nose and throat surgery. We also provide diagnostic services, using the latest MRI, ultrasound and plain film x-ray technology. To provide a professional customer / patient centred service Key Responsibilities: • To be flexible to work to shift patterns on rotation between the hours of 6.00am and 09.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am and 08.00pm Saturday/ Sunday. • Also to work in amongst other Patient Administration areas when needed. • To meet and greet all arrivals to Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre in a professional and customer/patient centred approach in line with the customer service standards of SMTC. And ensure if they are visitors or representatives that they sign in and out of the visitors log book. • To answer telephone calls and distribute calls and messages. • To sort post incoming and outgoing, internal and external. Key Skills: • Satisfactory Occupational Health clearance for the role specified. • Good attendance record • Good general education to • Commitment to personal development • Good spoken and written English • NVQ level 4 Customer Services
