Parkhouse Bell are delighted to be supporting our client, one of the countries leading charities to recruit for a Bid Writer.

This role is being offered on full-time, permanent basis, where you can work from an office base in either Bromley, Chelmsford or London 4 days a week and work remotely from home every Friday.

As a Bid Writer you will be responsible for researching, preparing and writing high quality bids and tender submissions for opportunities already identified by the business, that have the potential to achieve business growth across the organisations core areas of focus which include; Charitable Services and Enterprise, Family Services, Community Health and Wellbeing, Education, Employability, Justice and Learning and Skills.

Other responsibilities will include:
  • Support Bid Managers with research and develop bid responses
  • Support Bid Managers with the coordination and management of the tender processes
  • Develop and maintain a range of templated responses
  • Develop original and commercially astute responses
  • Work alongside Bid Coordinators to source bid supporting evidence and materials
  • Support the preparation of supplemental tender requirements
  • Complete expressions of interest and PQQs
  • Attend tender briefings and industry events
  • Support in the handing over of bid wins to operational teams

The ideal candidate will already be working in the role of a Bid Writer or be a Bid Administrator and/or Bid Coordinator looking for the next step in the career. Advantageous would be prior knowledge and/or tender exposure within one of the core areas of focus for the business noted above. Good communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to write accurately and eloquently from scratch is essential.

In return you will be offered:
  • A starting salary between £30,000 - £35,000pa
