As a sales co-founder, you will champion our CodePeoples' brand vertical, technology. A prime content-led tech brand which is the main source of information, dreams and ideas of ambitious people, inspiring and empowering the most talented people on the globe to think differently. You will drive digital advertising solutions sales and related products and services to the technology sector.

Who You Are

We are looking for a passionate sales co-founder to evangelize for our new technology vertical. As a trusted global brand, it is our responsibility to establish meaningful relationships with key Technology stakeholders; and manage new and existing relationships to deliver a mutually trusting and successful partnership. You will join a high-performing team of individual founders that works cross-functionally to build new technology partnerships for CodePeople.

We are looking for a strong sales candidate with deep experience selling display advertising and media. The ideal candidate will have a mix of and Sales & business experience in an industry vertical, technology and media will be a plus. Media/advertising industry understanding, deep analytical skills, priority management, stakeholder management and the ability to reach and influence senior decision-makers and a strong 'can-do' spirit that drives a self-starter is a must.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute on cold calling and email campaign strategies to qualify potential customers as a match for our CodePeople brand
  • Qualify outbound opportunities and develop a strong pipeline via phone, email or other contemporary communications methods
  • Generate new technology advertising business in targeted areas to increase our overall portfolio of partners
  • Meet monthly qualified opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met
  • Provide exceptional account management to our clients to ensure success of their programs, further developing trusted relationships

The Ideal Candidate
  • Passionate about building a multi-million dollar company
  • 3-7 years of proven success in business development and/or sales role
  • Experience in digital media and advertising industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or above. Excellent candidates with relevant experience will be considered
  • Must be a results-oriented professional and self-starter, with a success record to effectively build new relationships and work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with emphasis on engagement, persuasion and strong closing ability
  • Curiosity and passion for engaging with local businesses, stimulating interest on their end and helping develop effective client solutions
  • Be able to make use of modern productivity tech and internet tools like either Google or Microsoft docs, sheets, slides, mobile and social)
  • Ability to manage deadlines and to operate with a sense of urgency

Commitment: Initially Part-time, Full time after Seed funding.

Location: We are a remotely distributed team across the globe.

Compensation: Equity only at this stage, Salary based on Seed Funding.
