We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, outstanding, inspirational and student focused sociology teacher to deliver high quality learning and teaching to Access to HE students. It is essential that you have significant skills and knowledge of teaching Sociology at level 3, and a proven track record of achieving good results.

In this role, you will use a range of learning and teaching strategies and develop methods using technology that will encourage independent learning. Through the use of challenging individual targets and learning plans, you will be required to ensure that your student achievement is maximised.

You will hold a teaching qualification and a relevant degree or equivalent qualifications and vocational experience. You will also have outstanding communication skills to enable you to deliver high standards of teaching and learning, and to create and maintain community links. Previous experience in a FE setting would be advantageous. Applications from graduates, those wishing to change careers and NQTs are welcome.
