Contract Risk & Compliance (CRC) services assist organizations in identifying, evaluating and mitigating risks associated with external business relationships. Our services focus on improving confidence in an organization's contractual relationships and include assisting with the validation of information exchanged between organizations and their customers, vendors and third-party service providers. Deloitte's CRC services also help organizations improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their contract compliance monitoring processes and controls, resulting in improved business performance.

Your role
Our team specialise in helping the world's leading software vendors coordinate and deliver software licence compliance programmes to help protect their investment in their Intellectual Property. We undertake projects to determine the levels of use of the vendor's software in order to validate that they are in compliance with the vendors licence agreements as well as help organisations improve the processes by which manage software, thus maximising the value they achieve from these vital assets. Based on unprecedented demands for our services, we are looking to recruit individuals with a keen interest in the subject matter.
•You will work within a core team and be responsible for delivering software licence compliance and software asset management projects for a number of major clients, including a selection of the world's largest software companies.
•Working as part of a rapidly growing team you will develop an understanding of a broad range of client's IT infrastructures and vast range of software products, as well as learn to manage complex client relationships.
•As you will work our clients and their customer you will need to be able to develop strong working relationships and be of sufficiently strong character to deal with potentially sensitive issues.

London with occasional domestic and international travel

Work pattern:
This is a permanent contract opportunity.
The role can be worked on a full-time basis. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Tell us what arrangement works for you and we'll try to accommodate.
Your professional experience
•Knowledge and experience in IT operations (change and access control, backups and batch jobs, performance monitoring, etc.)
•Knowledge of basic networking and security protocols.
•Knowledge of tiered computer systems (front/back end access, multi-tier architecture, client/remote access)
•Ability to fully understand the structure of a virtualised environment. Familiar with the concept of ESX virtualisation, LPAR/HMC and Zoning
•Ability to use operating system commands to extract processor, memory and application configurations across different operating systems
•Ability to use advanced excel techniques including use of conditional formulas and Macro to improve data analysis efficiencies
•Ability to compile basic database queries to interrogate different databases such as SQL, Oracle or DB2.
•Ability to have confident discussion with customer's IT administrators for data gathering purposes
•A minimum 2:1 Degree or relevant professional qualification.
•A relevant qualification would be beneficial, such as ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Asset Management or ISEB Foundation Certificate in IT Assets and Infrastructure
•Engagement/Project management to ensure objectives are met, achieved on time and within budget
•Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under own initiative and in many different and challenging environments
•Strong team building skills
•Strong presentation and professional standards
