My highly successful client based in Lancaster are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidates roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with a team of Business Development Coordinators and the heads of various departments within the business to develop the growth of the e-commerce division of the business
  • Ensuring the CRM system is maintained and up to date at all times, with notes kept on opportunities, visits and communications
  • Building and developing new and existing accounts, providing the highest levels of service whilst maintaining a commercial mindset
  • Negotiating and managing contracts
  • Travelling to visit customers across the UK and Ireland
  • Supporting the Head and European offices remotely, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a proven sales track record
  • Have sales skills including strategies, forecasts and planning
  • Have strong negotiation skills
  • Have awareness of customer buying motives
  • Have the ability to review contracts and negotiate new ones
  • Have recent experience within a sales focused role
  • Have strong commercial awareness
  • Have excellent administration and time management skills
  • Have excellent communication and IT skills
  • Be positive, ambitious and focused
  • Be self motivated and driven to personally develop
  • Have a full clean driving license
