We're looking for customer-focused individual who is proactive, flexible and has a positive attitude to join us as a Floating Support Worker based in the Hertfordshire area.

We deliver affordable homes to rent or buy across the south east and east of England. We also provide supported housing services to help the more vulnerable people in our communities. Our people impact on the lives of others and our business every day so we're committed to developing talent and growing ambition.

We're at a particularly exciting point in our story, having recently merged with another large housing association, Catalyst. The merger makes us stronger and more able to deliver our social purpose.

We're always striving to do better. If you are too, read on.

As a Floating Support Worker you will play an active role in delivering our support service to vulnerable people. You'll primarily be working with people who have mental health problems across the Hertfordshire area, to support them with maintaining their tenancy.

You'll need to work closely with your Senior Floating Support Worker and local care providers to make sure the service delivered is seamless and consistent. In doing so, you will maintain accurate records on your customers and you will complete all administrative tasks required.

You may have some experience of working in a similar role, however if you have a passion or interest for working with vulnerable people then we'd still love to hear from you. You'll need good IT skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload. People skills are an absolute must for this position, so you need to be a strong communicator both in writing and in person. Due to the nature of the role, a discreet and sensitive approach with strong professional boundaries is also required. You'll be working remotely on a daily basis, so you need to be comfortable visiting properties, working without supervision and occasionally out of normal hours (as required).

At Aldwyck, we are extremely passionate about the services we provide to people and we know we wouldn't be able to deliver that service, without our people. If you'd like to join us, and help make a real difference, please get in touch.

The role is 'Floating' which means you need to have a full, clean drivers licence and access to a vehicle. In addition to this, you will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
