Job Role - Sales Executive

Location - Belfast

Working hours - Permanent role, normal office hours 9-5. Hitting targets allows for Sales executives to work remotely or from home half days (Dependant on performance!)

Specialist designer and manufacturing company of packaging solutions, producing a range of printed films and bags into the food and non-food sectors throughout the European demographic is seeking a Sales Executive.

This is a brand new business role with plenty of leads as a starting point. This is very much a solutions sell, candidates with a B2B sales background would be well suited to this role. Packaging experience is looked upon very favourably.

To be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to sell a full range of bags and films to brand owners in the food and non-food sectors. Will be provided product training, sales training, marketing materials and databases of potential customers.

Sales Executives Responsibilities:
  • Have a confident, positive attitude.
  • Have experience in a business-to-business or outbound similar sales/telesales role.
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Create sales opportunities with new customers
  • Develop business with existing customers
  • Sell a full range of flexible products
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • The ability to develop in-depth knowledge about your products and markets
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities
  • Identify strategic business opportunities to increase sales of the company's products within your area
  • Promotion of products to new and existing clients through a pro-active approach
  • Develop and submit quotes to customers, negotiating a necessary price to secure contracts
  • Having the ability to recognise opportunities and the sales experience to nurture prospects into clients
  • Servicing the needs of existing customers
  • Reporting of key quotations and new business opportunities to the SD
  • Implement marketing, advertising and promotion planning as required
  • Prioritise activities and prospects towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales

Sales Executive Keys Skills:
  • A proven background of B2B selling is good for this role ideally in Packaging
  • A technically minded individual who can demonstrate the ability to comprehend detailed analytical information and communicate this effectively.
  • Smart presentable professional, well-spoken in person and on the telephone.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
