My client based in South Darenth is looking for a Navision Specialist to join their Head Office Finance team.

Salary: Negotiable

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30-5.30pm

Main Responsibilities:

The position has two primary purposes:

As part of the small HO IT team, predominantly working on the

Navision 2015 ERP system processes and functionality. The

emphasis is on the integrity of consistent, reliable financial output of

management information.

(b) To assist the group-wide finance function particularly regarding

consistent and proper use of Navision across the group.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensure project plans are created and updated
  • Liaise with Business Leaders on development requests and priorities
  • Ensure "Best Practice" used for change control
  • Part of team responsible for system administration and business continuity solution.
  • As the group grows, a financial trouble-shooting support role.
  • Acceptance of responsibility to address issues at remote sites.
  • Organising and running training.
  • This section will require overseas travel.
  • Understand the Navision ERP system and how users interact with it.
  • Understand the data flow through Navision
  • Assist ERP team with 1st and 2nd line support issues in Navision.
  • Analysis of current processes to assess desirable changes required for improvement.

Person Specification

  • • Support Experience of Navision essential.
  • • Minimum part qualified accountant or accounts experience of 3 years.

  • 3 years' experience of Nav
  • Strong understanding of the principles of book- year is desirable
  • Keeping and double-entry accounting
  • Experience of Jet Reports with multi-currency and currency advantage
  • Good understanding of the flow of entries through Navision
  • Very strong Excel capabilities.
