Newbury College is looking for an Apprenticeship/Work Based Learning Co-Ordinator to join the Apprentice & Business team. The post holder will be responsible for managing the e-portfolio, claiming certification, managing the allocation of work to assessors and ensuring learners achieve their qualifications within the planned timescales. Another aspect of this role will be to act as lead IQA and ensure quality of processes & procedures. This is a part time role and is based on the successful candidate working 24 hours over 3-4 days, with an FTE salary of £25,350 FTE.

You must have:
  • An assessor qualification (A1/D32&D33)
  • An internal verifier qualification (V1/D34)
  • Experience of working as an IQA/IV and supervising a caseload of Assessors
  • Commercial experience working with a range of customers/employers

It would be beneficial if you also have:
  • A teaching qualification
  • Experience of working in further education
