Police Recruit - Candidate Coordinator/ Facilitator
If you’re the kind of person who cares about their community, this role is perfect for you. We’re looking for new people to join our team of Candidate Coordinators at the College of Policing and within police forces across England and Wales. Tasked with ensuring everyone is following the correct instructions, you’ll guide new police recruits throughout the entire assessment process. Ultimately, you’ll be shaping the future of policing and helping our forces to tackle crime and keep communities safe.
Join as a Candidate Coordinator and you’ll get paid a set daily rate, as well as full, paid training on how to best support candidates who are going through the assessment process. Among your responsibilities, you’ll ensure candidates are escorted to the right assessment activities at the right time. And offer the support they need to feel at ease, so they can perform to the best of their ability.
We cannot guarantee a minimum number of days you’ll work for but, as a Candidate Coordinator, you are likely to work for 15 days a year, usually 5 days at a time. You could do more if you want to. Please note that due to the nature of our assessment process we need fewer Candidate Coordinators than Assessors. So, we’ll welcome your application for the Assessor role too. Whatever position you choose and however long you’ll join us for, you’ll play a key role in our team.
