Supermarkets mystery shoppers
Mystery shoppers wanted
Wanna get paid to go shopping? If you love food shopping, have an eye for detail, are organised, reliable and trustworthy and have some free time on your hands, The Grocer is looking for new recruits to add to its nationwide army of mystery shoppers.
Our mystery shoppers are used to help The Grocer conduct The Grocer 33, a weekly survey of price, service and availability at the UK’s leading supermarkets. The feedback of our shoppers is used to determine the winner each week. So it’s vital we are supplied with accurate information about your experience – what was good, what was bad etc. And to encourage you to provide us with good feedback, we offer a £10 bonus to the mystery shopper whose answers were most useful.
You are paid £60 per shop. You will need to buy 33 items, with a balanced basket of goods across all grocery categories. Your job is to do the shop and provide feedback on the experience, providing us with details based on a form you need to complete online.
You’ll need a computer and a smart phone to take photos.
It’s an occasional gig, rather than a regular commitment, though if you’re prepared to travel a bit (and live in or near an area where we don’t currently have mystery shoppers), you’ll be used more regularly.
- Devon & Cornwall
- South & North Wales, Gwent and Dyfed-Powys
- North & West Yorkshire
- Northern Ireland
There is also a requirement for online and mobile shoppers to conduct our Online 33. If you are currently able to shop with a particular retailer online that will be considered an advantage.
