Pixel Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced Qualified Social Workers to join our clients Childrens Safeguarding Team. The Social worker role is based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Excellent rates of pay on offer at £32 per hour (Umbrella Company rate). Immediate interviews and our client can also offer quicks starts. For Cambridgeshire County Council it is "business as usual" during the pandemic and although there may be some flexibility to work remotely after the initial settling in period (with the agreement of the Manager), it will be necessary to be office based and visits continue to be undertaken.

Children's team undertaking court and child protection on long term cases. The successful Social Worker will require court experience.

Social Worker skills:
  • Experience and evidence of identifying the needs of young people and establishing targeted programme to meet needs
  • Knowledge of child protection and associated child in need social work practice issues and knowledge of methods of social work intervention

Social Worker Requirements:
  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with children and young people, in particular court work experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registered social worker with Social Work England
