SEMH Experienced TA in Southampton

TimePlan are working with a fantastic Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Southampton who are looking for Learning Support Assistants (LSA's) for September 2020. The school is very spacious, has welcoming staff and fantastic facilities. The school is home to 52 boys from ages 11-16 who have attachment issues, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) and behavioural difficulties. When visiting the school the facilities were really good, they had a very spacious sports hall, outdoor sports court, field they use on warmer days, fantastic Food Tech classroom and a Design Technology room with everything you would ever need.

About you

The school are looking for people who;
  • Have experience working in an SEMH setting
  • That are resilient
  • Flexible
  • Can think on their feet
  • Team Teach/Securicare trained (desirable)

In order to be considered for this position, all applicants must:
  • have previous experience working the UK national curriculum
  • hold a current and clear DBS
  • be able to commit to the full duration of the contract
  • have a passion for schools and the ability to help inspire all who they teach.
