Hays Education are seeking experienced SEN / Intervention teachers for Primary Schools in Bristol

Here at Hays Education, we have been experiencing increased demand for SEN and Intervention Specialist Teachers for both KS1 and KS2, due to the break from schooling caused by Covid-19. There are a number of roles available, including both short-term and long-term assignments.

This type of role will typically involve teaching a small class of fewer than 10 pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including behavioural, emotional and developmental needs. The roles can be part-time or full-time and can be short-term or long-term. You will typically have a LSA in the classroom with you.

In order for us to consider you for these SEN / Intervention teacher roles, you must:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have experience teaching SEN pupils
  • Have worked in a school within the last 5 years

You will need to be:

  • Motivated, passionate and resilient
  • Willing to encourage and support pupils
  • Capable of working as part of a team
